Beginner Arborist Climber Training

This intermediate-level class is designed for both NAA members and non-members with foundational arborist knowledge who are ready to further develop their climbing skills through guided, hands-on instruction. Ideal for those with basic climbing experience, the course prepares participants for more technical tree work.

Through a combination of classroom learning and practical fieldwork, attendees will build confidence in climbing safety, gear usage, and applied tree care techniques. The training emphasizes improving climbing technique, promoting safe and efficient canopy movement, and strengthening jobsite communication—key skills for continued professional growth in arboriculture.
